Trophies of e-Democracy 2008   Send to a friend   Print

At the end of two days of discussions on the impact of the Internet on politics and administration, André Santini has turned the "Trophies of e-Democracy 2008" at its closing session on 17 October . The Nord-Pas de Calais has been distinguished.

The 2008 World Forum on e-democracy and e-government was held in Issy-les-Moulineaux on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 October 2008.
 
This year the theme was "Europe and the challenges of e-Government 2.0."
 
The discussions have focused on the European agenda, because of the French presidency of the EU and Franco-German due to the years of Franco-German ICT.
 
Trophy Forum 2008: Andrew Rasiej, TechPresident.com
The trophy of the World Forum was presented to Andrew Rasiej, president and founder of TechPresident.com.

Its founder, Andrew RASIEJ, is a social entrepreneur who founded the "Personal Democracy Forum, an annual conference and a community site bringing together the actors of politics and technology. European trophy - Politech: The PSOE

"Through the project DREAM +, the Regional Council Nord - Pas de Calais offers several ways to support local institutions on the job they do or they could make digital tools in the service of a more open democracy and participatory cycle of seminars, call for applications for the granting of 10 half-day a group of expert providers to help design a proposed addition of ICT for the actions of local democracy, call for projects to a grant (up to 20 k euros and 60% of the total cost) to support advocacy of ICT in the actions of local democracy. "
