Within the framework of the “Box Private individuals”, the model 8 Go is sold 345.900 Francs CFA and the model 16 Go with 405.900 Francs CFA, the price of the fixed prices being respectively of 16.900 Francs CFA, 28.900 Francs CFA and 44.900 Francs CFA. There exists also a “Box Professionals” whose price of the fixed prices is overall of the same order but within the framework of which the price of the apparatus varies between 207.900 Francs CFA and 326.900 Francs CFA, according to the selected fixed price.

In addition to the fact that it is about a anti-competing practice, which is formally prohibited by the law n°94-63 of August 22, 1994, on the prices, competition and the economic dispute, it acts in addition of a practice illicit, since the purchase of Iphone is subordinated to the subscription of a fixed price what is prohibited by article 46 subparagraph 6 of the same law. If one is interested in the prices practised, they are on the one hand straightforwardly exorbitant when it is known that in France the 2 hours fixed monthly price, comprising many advantages, is invoiced 45 euros (30.000 Francs CFA) and that Iphone 8 Go is sold 99 euros (65.000 Francs CFA) and Iphone 16 Go with 129 euros (85.000 Francs CFA) and on the other hand completely unjustified since Sonatel profits from the tariffs that France Telecom negotiated with Apple in the name of all her African subsidiary companies! Finally it should be known that in France, a recent decision of the National council of competition denounced besides the contract signed between Apple and Orange by which this operator profited from the exclusiveness in marketing in the iPhone 3 G to the reason which it was likely to carry a gravely hurt and immediate to competition on the market of the mobiles and to the consumers by reducing competition on the prices, on the quality of the networks, the infrastructures and the customer services. Within sight of all that, the ball is from now on in the camp of defense associations of the consumers so that they carry in front of the courts what seems a real scandal.
